Campaign

As you know I am working on Jeb's campaign and I truly believe that working on his campaign is like being a mom. I feel overhwelming joy when he does well and get extremely defensive when someone attempts to attack him. I have only been on the campaign trail for 7 days and already I am so close to the people working with me it feels like a family. The republican debate was last night and it was one of the most exciting and stressful moments of my life. It was a moment that made me realize this was a presidential candidate! Anyways Jeb kicked butt and made me a very happy "mom".

Exhaustion

Today I felt the three day slump kick in...
Even though it was very cool to meet Marco Rubio in the morning, the afternoon was a bit stressful. Marco Rubio signed my poster, and answered my questions which was pretty cool. However my heat remained untouched it still is with Jebby! This afternoon at the Jeb campaign there was a lot more people. The Iowa office is being slowly shut down and everyone has moved on the Manchester. There are more to some on Saturday. I set up so the class will be able to go to One of Jeb's town halls on Sunday, let's see what happens.

Take two!

Today I was in an environment I was not use to... I was at a Hillary rally. I was very okay with learning new things and exploring my options. However, it was a very interesting experience I first had to wait in line for an hour and then second waited another hour and a half to simply see Hillary. I stood quietly in the back attempting to remain respectful, then I was forced to endure a brutal attack against republicans. Not the republican candidates, not republican legislation, I was attacked for simply being republican. Almost immediately I knew I did not belong. I felt as if I was not wanted, not needed, and not even cared for. However, I remained respectful and quiet in the back despite my feelings. Later getting to go to the Democratic state head was very interesting and I learned a little bit about the New Hampshire primaries. After this long ordeal of a day I returned to Jeb Bush's campaign. We did some phone banking for the short two hours left in the day and then came back to the hotel. Goodnight Bew Hampshire I will see you bright and early!!!

My first day!

The fact that Jeb did not win Iowa does not concern me or Jeb! My first day was more than I could have possibly anticipated! This morning when I woke up I had expected to do some calls, do some canvasing and then come home. As you know, if you read my previous post, I met the big guy today! I had the amazing opportunity to meet Jeb Bush tonight! He was as I had expected unbelievably personable! He took the time meet every single of the volunteers working in his office. After which I watched front row at his town hall. During both of these instances I got the unique opportunity to also converse with Jeb bush Jr. This campaign has already taught be so much and I cannot wait to learn more!

I met the man

Today I met JEB BUSH! My first day, I got to meet the man! I got to actually talk to him too we shook hands and took a picture! To be honest I am freaking out! I also got to talk to Jeb Jr.!
Pictures to come later!

And so it begins...

I'm ready to start my first day! Already the schedule of the day has changed and nothing makes me happier! Let's go jeb! Tough. Tested. Ready!

Travel

My morning began when most students end theirs. Suffice to say it was early, I was squished due to the two very large gentlemen on my first flight and luckily survived to get to my second flight. My second flight which was from philly to Manchester I had a bit more space and managed to take a few pictures of the lovely birds eye view!
